Horse Farm, Brazil

Studio Arthur Casas, known for mixing modernist and contemporary styles with a tropical touch, has created a comprehensive project that pays homage to the Mexican master, but with its own identity. An advocate of sustainable architecture, he says that if he could, he would create invisible works, letting nature take the lead. He carefully studied the site to optimize cross-ventilation and natural lighting, reducing the need for air conditioning and artificial light. He opted for prefabricated steel structures, reducing construction time to just 10 months and minimizing waste. Inspired by the romantic estates of Portugal, the complex includes an entertainment pavilion and a guest house, both contemporary, but with materials that evoke Iberian country estates, such as stone walls, wooden columns and beams, and tiles.
